ADVANCED FEATURES:
To maximize the Chat Room Window, click on the "Float" button (upper-right) and then maximize the floating window by clicking the Maximize button on the extreme top-right (the exact process may vary, depending on the operating system you are using.) To view the User Information of any participants, click on their alias to highlight the name, and then click on the "User Info" button at the top of the User Panel (right side.) This will let you view the User's real name and e-mail address (if they logged that information when connecting.) To send private messages to anyone in the chat room (without letting the other participants see your message,) highlight their alias in the User Panel, then check the box marked "Private Chat" and send a message as usual - by typing in the data entry field (below the main chat window) and press "ENTER". No one else will see this message even though it appears on your main screen. When you wish to send messages to the main chat area again, simply un-check the "Private Chat" box and resume. |
